Las Colonias Park Butterfly Pond

Due to forecasted poor weather on Saturday, the Grand Junction Sports Commission has made the difficult decision to reschedule the Howl-o-ween 5K & 2K Fun Run & Dog Walk. In lieu of Saturday’s event, an informal, drop-in event will be held on Monday, October 30 from 4:30-6pm at the Las Colonias Butterfly Pond. There will be candy, dog treats, and a pet costume contest with awards presented at 5:30pm.

Monday’s event is open to anyone regardless of registration. If you have already registered, please check your email for a message from the Grand Junction Sports Commission regarding your options.

To those who are unable to attend on Monday, we share in your disappointment and apologize for any inconvenience this change has caused you. We recognize that this event was highly anticipated by many, including us. We trust the experts and know that this decision was made with participant safety and comfort in mind.
